• As a cook, you will play a crucial role within our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include the development and preparation of Asian/Indian dishes while ensuring the continuity and preservation of our original and authentic recipes. We are seeking skilled cook who possess a deep understanding of the art of creating and preparing dishes with traditional techniques.
• Flexibility and a willingness to introduce new methods, techniques, and recipes are highly valued qualities in a cook. Our kitchen offers ample space for you to showcase your talents and share your expertise with our team. Additionally, we provide opportunities for you to expand your knowledge and gain experience in other Indian cuisines and our existing recipes and preparation methods.
TASKS:
• Independently and collaboratively develop, prepare, and enhance authentic Indian meals and their preparation techniques.
• Acquire knowledge and experience of our current recipes.
• Perform necessary prepping tasks such as washing, cutting, weighing, marinating, mixing, cooking, and stir-frying.
• Assess the freshness, taste, and shelf life of ingredients.
• Ensure and enhance the quality of our food in terms of food safety, taste, and adherence to our working methods.
• Share your knowledge and experiences with other chefs and departments within our company.
• Maintain cleanliness within the working environment, including kitchen appliances.
REQUIREMENTS:
• MBO working and thinking level 3, or substantial demonstrable work experience at this level.
• Strong knowledge of recipes, ingredients, fresh (Indian) herbs, and traditional preparation methods.
• Atleast one language English, hindi is mandatory. Dutch is advantageous but not mandatory
• Willingness and ability to master our current recipes and preparation methods, or a willingness to learn from our existing knowledge and experience.
• Accurate, flexible, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Thoughtful, quality-conscious, and commercially-oriented approach.
• Ability to adapt recipes to various serving sizes or willingness to learn.

Pay: €2.400,00 - €2.700,00 per month
